ODM currently has six fully operational Selective Laser Sinterstations (SLS) from 3-D Systems. These machines are producing flight qualified hardware. We have the capability to produce structural plastic parts using a proprietary process for high strength.
Quality control is ensured by dimensional inspection and material testing right on the production line. The geometry of every part is measured with an on-site Coordinate Measuring Machine and compared directly to the CAD model. Material properties for each production run are measured with embedded tensile bars which are pulled on an Instron Tensile Testor.
